GS Group’s conservation project featured in Catering Insight’s ‘100 Greats’

Last month, Catering Insight celebrated the release of its 100th issue with a run-down of 100 UK catering equipment industry greats and GS Group were lucky enough to bag a place for our project with The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

Catering Insight was on the look-out for game-changing projects that transformed industry capabilities and despite the many high-quality kitchen design and fit-out projects that have taken place over the years, it was one of our projects that was highlighted as one of the best.

Featured in the edition’s ‘Perfect Projects’ category, GS Group was recognised by the publisher for our work in the £20m conservation and extension operation.

Our project with HSLI was recognised because of the logistics and spacial difficulties we had to overcome during the duration. Most notably, the specialist design and construction methodologies required for the Grade II listed building.

By remaining flexible throughout the delivery, we were able to plan ahead and overcome a variety of problems and for this reason, it was decided we would be featured in the top 25 projects of the last decade.
