It’s the second edition of our Meet the Team series and today we’re introducing our Contracts Administrator and Estimator, Jenna, who has just finished her apprenticeship and is moving into a permanent position here at GS Catering Equipment Ltd!
For the past year, Jenna has worked hard within the estimating department, progressing within her role, to become an experienced member of the team. Read what she has to say about her time at GS here:
What does your job role involve?
Part of my role is estimating where I have to create quotations, I also organise all training and sort handover packs, which consist of creating certificates and organising operating and maintenance manuals.
When new colleagues start, I also help with their training needs and give advice on the best practice.
What would you say are the top qualities or skills needed in your job role?
Remaining calm while working to tight deadlines, communicating well with everyone and remembering not to panic when things get busy!
Describe in three words what it is like to work for GS Group?
Interesting, fulfilling and challenging.
What do you enjoy most working here?
I’m thankful that I work with a great team that are always willing to help and support me. Over the last 12 months, I have learnt so much and I’m looking forward to developing my role further.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I’ve really enjoyed my first year here and I’m excited for my future within GS Catering Equipment!
